1. Can we bring our dogs/pets.
Yes, Morfa Farm is a pet friendly location for those staying within the caravan park or campsite. For guests at the bunkhouse and cottage please contact the owners to discuss.
2. Can I charge my electric car on site?
Yes we have an electric car charger on site.
3. Can I pay with my credit/debit card.
We accept all methods of payments including contactless.
4. Do I need to bring my own linen?
Yes, guests staying within our caravans are advised to bring all their own bedding including pillows. Dont forget your towels. Those staying at our bunkhouse are advised to bring sleeping bags / duvets, or can hire them on arrival.
5. Are there shops nearby?
We supply calor gas bottles on site.
A well stocked petrol station/nisa and a village shop is located within the village of Llanrhystud a very short distance from Morfa Farm.
6. Can I use the slipway?
Our private slipway can be used by anyone staying at one of Morfa Farm’s accommodation. On supplying your boat insurance details you will be issued with an official slipway pass to be displayed on your boat/ vessel.
7. Do I need a permit to go fishing?
A rod licence is required for fishing within the River Wyre.
8. Are there places to go for food and drink in the area?
Ceredigion has some excellent places to eat and drink, our friendly staff can help advise where to go based on your budget and preferences.
9. Is the beach sandy?
The beach is sandy, however at high tide only the pebbled area of the beach is visible.
10. What are the transport links like?
Morfa Caravan Park is a 1-hour journey from Fishguard port. A ferry to and from Rosslare – Ireland leaves at regular intervals.
By car take the A487 from Aberystwyth towards Aberaeron. After passing through the village of Llanrhystud bear right at the petrol and service station and follow the left road leading to the beach. Morfa Farm caravan park is the last right turn before you reach the beach. This is a short drive down a single tarmac road with ample passing spaces. It is easily accessible.
Buses – at intervals – pass between Aberystwyth and New Quay, providing a service covering many places of interest & beauty
11. Can I pay off my booking in instalments?
Payment plans are available subject to availability and at the discretion of the owners. Deposits are usually taken for caravan and cottage bookings.
12. Can I book the whole bunkhouse or a whole room?
Yes, sole occupancy and room rates are available and at discounted rates.
13. I plan on walking the Ceredigion Coast Path, do you offer a cab a bag service?
Yes, we can arrange for walkers bags to be ferried on to their next nights accommodation.
14. Is the site safe for children and people with disabilities?
The site is completely child friendly with many safeguards put in place. Likewise great efforts have been gone to in order to improve accessibility for people with disabilities which can be discussed by contacting [email protected]
15. Will my expensive kit be safe whilst staying at Morfa Farm?
Secure lock ups are available to guests.
16. Does it depend where I am staying on what things I can do onsite ?
General Morfa Farm amenities are available to all guests, including a site shop, games/snooker room, tennis court, private slipway, children’s play area and storage facilities.
